how to use it
Massage a small amount of product into wet hands, then massage gently over the face for up to three minutes. Avoid the eyes. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
i expected this to smell amazing since it has honey, lavendar and vanilla in it, but it smells pretty terrible. i like to enjoy washing my face but thats hard to do using this cleanser. it works well and didnt dry out my sensitive acne prone skin, but i am glad i only got a sample 1/2 ounce size in the anti blemish kit i ordered. i will not be purchasing this. on the positive side, it lathers well and you only need a little bit to get the job done.
I'm an esthetician and we carry several skin care lines at our spa, Eminence being one of them. I have acne-prone skin, and break out frequently. Even as an esthetician, it is hard to control. Mineral Cleanse is an amazing cleanser. I don't use it every day as a face wash. In the morning I wash with the Eminence Eucalyptus Cleanser, and when I use MIneral (about 3 times a week) I use it at night, after I exfoliate. The smell isn't great, but don't let that be the reason you don't use it. All Eminence products are concocted so the smell dissipates after use. This is a very strong cleanser, so using it twice a day, every day, can may not be the best for all skin types (use every day if you don't have sensitive skin), but it is great to throw in to your weekly regime as a "detox". I also use it to spot treat any attacks I have coming on, and it usually stops problems on the spot and can clear up blemishes in a day or two (as opposed to 4 or 5, like my skin usually does). As an esthetician, I highly recommend this cleanser to everyone who has searched far and wide for a cleanser to clear up their acne. LOVE THIS STUFF!!!
The smell isn't bad...it just takes getting used to. I think it's the ichitol clay smell that other reviewers are complaining about. Overall a great cleanser for cleansing and refreshing the skin. My only issue is that I still have clogged pores in my nose area...it's driving me nuts! But the cleanser does help to relieve some of the congestion.

I have extremely oily skin that shines within 30 minutes of being washed. Clogged pores are just a part of the landscape. I generally have a hard time with cleansers that are formulated to cut through all that oil, and usually find them too drying. But, cleansers that aren't as drying often fail to cleanse my skin properly.
Mineral Cleansing Concentrate manages to walk that tightrope perfectly. It removes ALL traces of makeup and temporarily tightens my pores without drying AT ALL. I LOVE IT!! I'm left with bright, clean skin that isn't tight feeling or dry looking. I don't like the smell, though, which is hard to describe.....almost syntheticy (???), but worth putting up with.
Highly recommended for oily skins. Normal-to-oily skins could probably do well by it too.
I love this cleanser! I does have a weird smell but you get use to it after a while. I have an awful problem with acne on my chin and big pores on my nose. This has helped so much! The pores have gotten smaller and my chin is starting to clear up after just one week of using it. I also have a lot of scares from previous break outs and they are also starting to disappear. I use all of the products in the acne kit. I will have to tell you that the micro. kit smell horrible but once again it is very well worth it. I would definately recommend this product!
