The Fresh sugar lip treatment is a great cool/cold weather balm that smells like a bowl f fresh sliced lemons. It is not thick and floppy but rather thin when you put it on. It glides on smoothly. Is non gritty. It does feel a touch oily,but that is to be expected with a lip product as rich in hydrating oils( no mineral) as Sugar Lip Treatment is. It creates a nice barrier keeping the dry office air and harsh winter wind away from your precious lips. It does not just sit on top of lips but penetrates to do more than Mask the problem. The tube is a bit heavy but cute. Also the lid wont come off in your bag or pocket. The key to keeping lips from drying out is PERSISTENCE! So whatever you decide to use make sure you use it several times a day if they are really bad. Once you heal your lips just a couple swipes a day is all you will need to maintain supple,healthy hydrated lips.
