I've been using this product for years. However, the last tube i bought is horrible and unusable. It cannot be the real thing, i think its basically "counterfeit". The packaging is also different from other la roche posay same products. I am very unhappy about this. The product does not sink into the skin and is impossible to rub in. And 1.7 oz for $29.95??? Ripoff!
I heard that La Roche Posay Anthelios was the best sunscreen in the world....so I had to try it.
Based on other reviews stating that the lotion left white streaks and did not absorb well, I only used a very small amount on my face. Nevertheless, I still was left with white residue all over my face. I also noticed that the lotion had sunk into my pores, leaving me with little white dots in addition to the streaks.
Unfortunately, this did not satisfy me. I'm going back to using what I always used: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry Touch.
The La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF 40 is a brand new release in the U.S., so this couldn't be the stuff you have been using for years. This is not the same as the european version (which has been around for awhile) - the U.S. version is different and was only most recently approved by the FDA. The Anthelios on this site is the FDA approved version and not the european version - which is probably what you are used to.
