Apply a small amount to the skin before applying foundation.
I used to use this primer when I was still tanning. It has a nice texture and the tint helps to even out your skin-tone and provides a good base that helps foundation go one easier and apply more evenly. I also used it when I went with more natural lighter makeup without foundation over it as it lends a more uniform complexion and minimizes the look of pores. Now that i stopped tanning it is too darkly tinted for me to use, but that does not stop me from recommending it to someone with anything besides very fair skin.
