Roth's own struggle with acne, sun spots, and fine lines led him to create the Peter Thomas Roth line of skin care. When Roth launched his company in 1993, he used inspiration that he gained growing up in Hungary where his father's family owned two spa hotels. He improved upon these old recipes for skin care with modern technology and ingredients. The Peter Thomas Roth collection contains products that smooth out lines and wrinkles, clear acne, hydrate the skin, and improve skin texture without causing irritation or damage to the skin.
